Dallas Art Fair Gallery Highlights
Perrotin Debuts Emily Mae Smith and Iván Argote

Perrotin showcases recent gems by premier artists of their roster, including Nina Chanel Abney, Emily Mae Smith, Iván Argote, Takashi Murakami, Nick Doyle, and many more. “Gleaner with Sheaf,” by the imaginative Emily Mae Smith, invokes her youth in rural Texas and the lushness of her current home within the Hudson River Valley. Meanwhile, “Reflexions, Grab My Wrist,” by the perceptive Iván Argote transforms word fragments utilized in political slogans into an affectionate movement.
Vielmetter Brings Elizabeth Neel and Bari Ziperstein

Vielmetter Los Angeles brings its best and brightest to The Dallas Art Fair with artists Elizabeth Neel and Bari Ziperstein. Take a closer look at new paintings by the poetic Neel, whose abstract creations find zestful energy in Mother Nature’s bounty, rising and falling colorfully through expressive moments of inception and demise. In addition, ceramic sculptures by the accomplished Ziperstein are dedicated to Southern California’s sweeping history of clay-making, and fuse the simple with the extravagant for a visceral journey.
WHATIFTHEWORLD Showcases Michael Taylor

Hailing from South Africa, WHATIFTHEWORLD brings the thought-provoking works of artist Michael Taylor, who makes his US debut at The Dallas Art Fair. Revealing the lyricism of the drawing process, Taylor intermingles fantasy and reality in artworks which brim with undefined, modern storytelling. Profound themes of masculinity, mythology, and theatricality dazzle and provoke within every piece.
