Spinello ProjectsMiami
Spinello Projects is a Miami-based contemporary art program founded in 2005 by Anthony Spinello. The gallery supports artists with strong visual and experimental practices. Its mission is to initiate fundamental changes in Miami's visual landscape and to present aesthetic challenges to a global viewership. Spinello Projects is an incubator; it manifests and produces socio-political projects, and provides non- commercial initiatives, offering a safe space for emerging Miami-based cultural producers. Public institutions have housed both works and projects from Spinello Projects including the Palais de Tokyo, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, MOMA/P.S.1, Ballroom Marfa, Tel-Aviv Museum of Art, Denver Art Museum, Warhol Museum, The Bass Museum, ICA Miami, Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Faena Arts Center, the Rubell Museum, Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the Orlando Museum of Art.
