Meliksetian | Briggs was founded in 2012 by Anna Meliksetian and Michael Briggs. Featuring an intergenerational program of international artists, with a focus on Los Angeles, the gallery intends to be a site of discovery, experimentation, and cultural and educational exchange, while working closely with and supporting artists, helping them achieve their ambitions.

The artists in the program investigate various positions, addressing relevant and topical aesthetic, philosophical, and sociopolitical ideas in their work.

Gallery artists have exhibited frequently in museum and institutional shows, have had their work featured in major international exhibitions such as the Whitney Biennial, the Venice Biennale, the Saõ Paolo Biennial and the Made in L.A. biennial, and are represented in public and institutional collections worldwide.
