Josh LilleyLondon

Josh Lilley opened in Fitzrovia in May 2009. In 2020, after 90 exhibitions, the gallery expanded into adjoining premises to double the exhibition space, viewing rooms and street facade. Continuing a lineage of significant introductory presentations that includes Derek Fordjour, Analia Saban, Celeste Rapone, Aliza Nisenbaum, Brian Bress and Alex Da Corte, 2021-2022 programming includes the London solo gallery debuts for Martine Gutierrez, Iman Raad, Rachel Maclean and Spencer Lewis. Recent and upcoming gallery highlights include Nick Goss’ solo survey show at Pallant House, UK (with accompanying monograph co-published with Koenig Books, London); Kathleen Ryan’s two-venue presentation at the 2021 Liverpool Biennial; Ryan Mosley’s participation in the once-in-a-generation painting referendum exhibition Radical Figures at Whitechapel Gallery, London; an exhibition of never-before-seen work from the 1970s by Patrick Caulfield; and major acquisitions for LACMA (Derek Fordjour), the Hammer Museum (Kathleen Ryan), and the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Nick Goss).
