Galeria de las MisionesJose Ignacio (UY), Miami (US), Montevideo (UY), Menorca (SP).

Founded in 1990 in Montevideo, Uruguay, Galería de las Misiones is a leading institution dedicated to the research, exhibition, and promotion of Latin American abstraction. The gallery is headquartered in a three-story Art Deco building in Montevideo’s historic center, with additional locations in Punta del Este, José Ignacio, Miami, and Menorca, Spain.

Internationally recognized for its expertise in constructivism and geometric abstraction, the gallery was originally founded with a focus on the work of Joaquín Torres García and the School of the South. Over time, it has become a key reference for the Concrete Art of the Río de la Plata region, including the Madí movement founded in Buenos Aires in 1946 and the Grupo de Arte No Figurativo established in Montevideo in the early 1950s. Through close collaboration with museums and cultural institutions, regular participation in major international art fairs across the Americas and Europe, and the publication of more than 40 exhibition catalogs and numerous art books, Galería de las Misiones has established itself as a trusted resource for collectors and institutions worldwide.
