From its inception in 2015, Jack Barrett has focused on showcasing emerging artists working across diverse multidisciplinary practices. First opening in the Lower East Side, the gallery has since relocated to its new 3,000 square foot storefront in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood, where it continues to develop the practices of a roster of represented artists, along with fostering newly emergent voices in contemporary art. Today, the gallery maintains regular programming of six-week solo and group exhibitions, and participates in international and domestic art fairs, such as The Armory Show, NADA New York and Miami, and Dallas Art Fair. Jack Barrett has been featured in major publications such as Artforum, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Hyperallergic, Cultured, The Brooklyn Rail, Brooklyn Magazine, Artspace, Artnet, among others.
